Cyanotype 8"x10" Framed Print

Cyanotypes are an early photographic process. The paper is coated with a light sensitive solution, when it is exposed to sunlight, the solution turns blue. Flowers, leaves, or other objects are placed on top of the coated paper before it is exposed to sunlight. The sun creates the image, leaving behind the signature rich blue color and making each print feel both handmade and historic.

The Cyanotypes do not fade very easily, but they should not be hung in direct sunlight.
